Kristina is a Reader in Design and Applied Arts in the School of Art and Design, University of Wolverhampton, UK. Duties and responsibitlities of her current post include:

• Leading Critical and Cultural Studies in Design and Applied Arts

• MA and PhD supervision

• Leading the Research Cluster for Material and Theoretical Experimentation in Design, Applied and Fine Arts, in the Centre for Art and Design Research and Experimentation (CADRE)

• Personal Research, including:

  • Doctoral Education through DART

  • Research into Experiential Knowledge through EKSIG

  • Research into the Creative Possibilities of Argentium® Sterling Silver

  • Research into mediating social interaction through Performative Objects

  • Editor of the journal of Craft Research, Intellect Publishers.
